Camping 2009

Here we are yet again, at our favorite camping grounds. This year my sister Candy, her husband Gregg and their 2 kids Josh & Bobby joined us for our weekend. On Friday it rained before we left. yuck. By the time we got there the sun had come out. However, our site was shaded and it hadn't dried up. Candy's had. We picked the wrong one. So we put up our tents on the muddy ground and hoped the tarp underneath would keep out most of the wet. Bobby and Abby were having fun with Eeyore. I think the Bobster was dancing, not positive though. Friday night Gregg & the boys came out early since Candy had to work. Sean cooked dinner of fish & zucchini. It was really good. Josh hates fish & zucchini so he had a hot dog. Saturday Sean had to go back to get Sabrina, since she was on a mission trip and didn't get home until late Friday night. While he was doing that we all headed to the beach. It ended up being a great day for the beach, sunny and hot!! Bobby didn't like the water unless someone was holding him. He kept telling his mom & dad to come out of the water. Ha.

After swimming, lunch and a nap we headed to the spillway. of course. Can't go camping without the nasty fish. Here's Candy, Gregg, Josh & Bobby. The girls and Sean didn't want to go, I guess they've had enough of feeding the fish.

They went fishing instead. The girls didn't catch much, just a few small perch and a blue gill. Not as successful as last year.
