I have several....

Collections it seems :) Besides my trees that I put up every year, I have another collection that seems to be growing. My nativity scenes. This is the first one that I got when I was first out of college and had my own place. Yes, these are Native Americans and they are in a teepee. This is the second one I have acquired. My sister Amy got it for me when she was on cruise in Mexico. Cool, eh? I actually got the building part from Target when it was 90% off and I only paid 2 bucks for it! But it goes well with the set.
Here's a little close up of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus
This is the next in line. I'm glad my sis travels a lot, she got this from the Vatican while she was on a Mediterranean cruise. And this one. Sean noticed that I had inadvertently started a collection, so for Christmas he got me this. It's carved from an olive tree and was carved in Israel.
I think my sister needs to go on more cruises to get me different ones, or I need to go on some :)

Christmas 2009

A tradition I didn't know about around here is that the Sunday before Christmas Santa visits all the neighborhoods and hands out candy from the fire truck. On our way home from church, a Santa in another township stepped off the firetruck right into the side of our car. Luckily we weren't going very fast and he could walk away :)The tree with all the loot, before it got annihilated. Abby opening gift from Sabrina.Sabrina opening a sweater. You know, the fun stuff :)Abby opening zookeeper and animals. Riddick enjoying his gift! The girls got a science project thing so they could dissect a frog, but the had to make it first. This is them stirring up the goop for the body. notice, they haven't even changed out of their pj's. After the frog had set for an hour it was time for dissection. Can I just say, these are girls after my own heart. hahahha, nothing like dissecting a frog for Christmas.

Sean had to get the frog out of the mold, it wasn't as easy as it looked on the directions.

And then we let them loose with a knife. Plastic, of course. But they had fun.
