We only got one bike, for Sabrina. Sabrina's old bike was big enough for Abby to ride comfortably, and it didn't put us in the poor house. This would be the new bike, she should be good for a long time. We'll be buying Abby a new one next year probably cause she grows faster than we can buy her pants!
Along with new bikes came new helmets since they can now ride on the road safely. They loved the helmets and didn't want to take them off when they came in the house. It was all we could do to get them to take them off for lunch.
The best part was that they rode all day. We didn't see them for a couple of hours. They rode around and around the neighborhood. Sean had mapped out that 3 laps is a mile, and the last little bit of the lap is uphill to the house. The girls went around at least 6 times, so for them, that was serious long distance.

Hi Trixie!! Sorry so long between blogging attempts these days. I am committed to doing somewhat better? What a fabulous accomplishment for those girls. Riding a bike gives you so much autonomy. I wish everyone could learn to ride. Sure didn't take them long to get their confidence! Awesome.
You doing alright??
Love to hear from ya when you're not overwhelmed!
