Extreme Food Storage

Having a chef for a husband does have its advantages. Sean knows how to slice large pieces of meat. Due to some great circumstances we were able to purchase some bulk meat, chicken, beef roasts, bacon & pork to put in the freezer. We have access to a store called Restuarant Depot where they have EVERYTHING in bulk. It's great. We were able to get everything at a much cheaper price than going to the grocery store.
This is what part of 40lbs of chicken looks like. We have enough chicken to last us the year if we eat 1 package a week. Yeah, that is a lot of chicken. We also have enough bacon to last us the year. If you're wondering why we are thinking about a years time (other than that is what we are directed to do), that would be the year that I am in school and we won't be able to afford anything, let alone meat. We hope we got enough of the other stuff to last us at least until after Christmas. Now here's hoping the electricity doesn't go out and the freezer stop working. That would be all sorts of bad.
